Jasper & Oak on the Cover of Edible Weddings Central Coast
I’m so excited to share that Jasper & Oak has been featured on the cover of Edible Weddings Central Coast, a publication that celebrates real weddings, local artisans, and sustainable celebrations throughout Ventura County and the Central Coast.
A Personal Story That Feels Like Family
What makes this moment even more meaningful is who’s on the cover—my best friend’s sister. Getting to tell her story wasn’t just an honor, it was personal. I’ve known their family for years, and being trusted to capture her wedding day felt like documenting a piece of my own story, too.
To now see that moment celebrated on the cover of a publication that champions intentional, meaningful, and sustainable weddings feels incredibly full-circle.
Why This Feature Matters to Ventura County
As a Ventura-based filmmaker, I’ve had the privilege of working at some of the most beautiful venues across Camarillo, Ojai, Malibu, Santa Barbara, and the Central Coast. And time after time, I’ve seen couples and vendors push beyond “trendy” to create weddings that are not only beautiful but responsibly crafted—with thoughtful details, locally-sourced elements, and real heart behind every decision.
Edible Weddings Central Coast is all about that mission. From farm-to-table menus to eco-friendly florals, they spotlight couples and creatives who care deeply about sustainability without sacrificing style. To have one of our films turned into a cover story for a publication like this feels like a celebration of what we value most—real, meaningful storytelling.
Celebrating Sustainability in Local Weddings
Weddings here on the Central Coast and in Ventura County have a unique energy. Whether it’s a vineyard celebration at Tuscan Rose Ranch, a garden ceremony at Maravilla Gardens, a coastal view at Rincon Beach Club, or an elegant affair at Villa & Vine in Santa Barbara, couples in our community are proving that sustainability and luxury can go hand-in-hand.
Let’s Tell Your Story Next
If you’re planning a wedding in Ventura County, Camarillo, Ojai, Malibu, Santa Barbara, or anywhere along the Central Coast, I’d love to help tell your story with care and authenticity.
Thank you to Edible Weddings Central Coast for celebrating couples who care about making an impact—and thank you to every couple who continues to trust Jasper & Oak to capture their most meaningful moments.
